Our Love For Him Determines What We Give Unto Him

Now Ben-Hadad king of Aram mustered his entire army. Accompanied by thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots, he went up and besieged Samaria and attacked it. He sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, saying, “This is what Ben-Hadad says: ‘Your silver and gold are mine, and the best of your wives and children are mine.’ ” The king of Israel answered, “Just as you say, my Lord the king. I and all I have are yours.”

** Ahab surrendered EVERYTHING to King of Assyria out of fear. How much more should we surrender ourselves and EVERYTHING we have to the King of kings out of love? He loved us enough to die for us, what should we keep from him? We love Him because He loved us.

• Our love for Him determines what we give unto Him , and what we withhold from him. May God grant us grace for full surrender
