Remember prayer is a shield.

“Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.”

Luke 22:46 NLT

– Jesus took three of His disciples into the garden of Gethsemane so they would pray with Him because of what awaited them as well as Jesus.
– They slept but Jesus prayed Himself through until an angel came to strengthen Him.
– Prayer is protective had they prayed through, they would have stood all that was coming.
– Imagine how many plans of the enemy abort, many of which you will never know, when you consistently pray.
– Imagine how many pitfalls you evade in a day, when you keep yourself fully prayed up.
– Remember prayer is a shield, it is protective.
