Press your way unto victory?
Then Jesus went to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and taught there in the synagogue every Sabbath day. Once when he was in the synagogue, a man possessed by a demon—an evil spirit—cried out, shouting, “Go away! Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” But Jesus reprimanded him. “Be quiet! Come out of the man,” he ordered. At that, the demon threw the man to the floor as the crowd watched; then it came out of him without hurting him further.
Luke 4:31, 33-35 NLT
– Jesus had been rejected in His hometown Nazareth.
– When He came to Capernaum ,the demon tried to identify Him with the previous rejection by calling Him Jesus of Nazareth.(the place where they had rejected Him).
– Jesus refused that identity ,ignored those words and cast the demon out.
– Could it be that the enemy is distracting you by reminding you of that place of rejection? loss? scandal? defeat? or failure.
-Will you do as Jesus did now that you have His grace? Press your way unto
