God will be our protection – Daily Devotion | 30th January 2023

I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will be its glory within.’

Zechariah 2:5 NIV

– A young man had been sent to measure the dimensions of the city so that elders would build a wall to protect themselves and the little they had.
– An angel of the Lord intercepted him and told him to stop because of these things.
– Jerusalem would explode with people.
– overflow with livestock(wealth), be full of God’s glory and God would be their protection, a wall of fire around them.
– Explosion, overflow, protection, glory now that’s our portion after having spent all those years of captivity.
