You’re Wiser Than Esau, Dont Miss your Blessings.– Daily Devotion | 30th November 2022
After Isaac finished blessing him, and Jacob had scarcely left his father’s presence, his brother Esau
came in from hunting. He too prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father. Then he said to him,
“My father, please sit up and eat some of my game, so that you may give me your blessing.” When Esau
heard his father’s words, he burst out with a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, “Bless me—me too,
my father!” But he said, “Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”
Genesis 27:30-31, 34-35 NIV
Esau missed on the blessing twice.
-In Genesis 25:34 he missed on the blessing because of wrong values, He valued a meal more than
inheritance.
-In Genesis 27 ,he missed on the blessing on the issue of timing, he took too long out there.
– The blessing is being poured forth, am sure you are now wiser than Esau.
