God of breakthrough – Daily Devotion |10th October 2022

But the king of Egypt said, “Moses and Aaron, why are you taking the people away from their labor? Get back
to your work!That same day Pharaoh gave this order to the slave drivers and overseers in charge of the people:
“You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks;let them go and gather their own straw.
But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don’t reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is
why they are crying out, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’

Exodus 5:4‭, ‬6‭-‬8 NIV

– God spoke to Moses about taking the children of Israel from Egypt to a land flowing with milk and honey.
– When Moses approached Pharaoh all hell broke loose, things turned to the contrary with high level cruelty
and all manner of resistance.
– Resistance, contradictory attacks, hindrances are not evidence that God spoke a lie, they are forces to be
dealt with for it is impossible for God to lie. (Numbers 23:19 ,Hebrew 6:18 )
– God of breakthrough loves to deal with any form of resistance… stubborn or otherwise that stand opposed
to His will ,His word and His work.
– In this season of breakthrough…let everyone be a liar but God will prove Himself to be true.
– He has His ‘kabunja’ ,His dam-breaker and His hammer ready to effect breakthroughs on your behalf.
