Jesus Cleanses From Unrighteousness

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Matthew 8:3‭-‬4 KJV
** Jesus touched the leper and healed him. Anyone touching a leper was considered unclean but with Jesus, the man He touched was healed and cleansed instead.
** Jesus told him to go to the priest with sacrifices to honor God as seen in Leviticus 14:21-31. Lamb and olive oil beside others for a wave offering, giving glory to God for His doing. Cleansing pointed to Messiah as the rabbis taught in those days symbolizing cleansing wrought by His blood and sanctifying work of the Holy Ghost.

• Jesus is still cleansing from all manner of unrighteousness, He is also pouring upon the repentant the oil, the Holy Spirit. Let’s continually come to Him with humble hearts. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, and a broken and contrite heart as seen in Psalms 51:17
