Do Not Ignore The shortcomings

Now Paul traveled to Derbe and also to Lystra. A disciple named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer [in Christ], however, his father was a Greek. Timothy was well spoken of by the brothers and sisters who were in Lystra and Iconium. Paul wanted Timothy to go with him [as a missionary]; and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.
Acts 16:1‭-‬3 AMP
** Paul met Timothy in Lystra…he however learnt Timothy was not a ‘pure’ Jew and that he was not circumcised…
** Paul saw through the potential that Timothy had ,ignored the shortcomings, improved on him a bit for acceptability purposes ( by circumcising him himself) mentored him , and ushered him into ministry
** Timothy was later to become the pastor of 40000 Ephesus church
***How about your Timothy..? Can you ignore all his shortcomings and do what it will take to have his potential enhanced…? Imagine how many Timothys have been ignored, cast away…
What a lesson from Paul..?
Blessings
