Desire To Go Beyond Knowledge About Him
At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

** It takes divine revelation to know the Father, Jesus reveals the Father to us. It takes divine revelation to know the Jesus as seen in John 14:26. Mary came to know of Jesus by angel Gabriel. Elizabeth came to know of Jesus by the Holy Spirit as He filled baby while yet in her womb Luke 1:41
– Paul knew of Jesus by first hearing direct from Him and thereafter by the Holy Spirit, Biblical knowledge is not enough divine revelation is more important. Desire to go beyond knowledge about Him to knowledge of Him.’ that I may know Him, Paul prayed, as seen in Phillipians 3:7-11.
