Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?” “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and
the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Matthew 19:3-6 NIV
– The Creator instituted marriage for a man and a woman(Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve)
– God intended that this be ratified as a permanent covenantal institution.
– God knew that persons and demons would work overtime to bring separation and divorce.
– He said that this should not be allowed to happen.
– As we say NO to LGBTQ let’s not allow whatever else persons and demons are trying to slip through into the marriage institution to occasion tension, separation.
– Hedge the family with 24/7 prayer watch, it’s the only way.
