Be careful not to overpromise.
The king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

– Herod out of hype vowed to give the dancing girl whatever she asked from him..
– After consulting with her mother she asked for the head of John the Baptist on a platter.
– Be careful not to overpromise and when you do keep your promises you never know who is being consulted.(Proverbs 24:14)
