walk that extra mile.
a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a
great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting
better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and
touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”
Mark 5:25-28 NIV
– This woman went against all odds, pushed herself through the hostile crowd and by doing so pulled a miracle out of Jesus healing virtue.
– She went that extra mile in her efforts to reach Jesus and was greatly rewarded.
– What will make us spare no effort to have Him.
1.Desperation -this woman was at her wits end.
2.deep love for Him.
– Remember Mary breaking the alabaster jar?
– Are you desperate enough? Do you love Him with your all in all?, then walk that extra mile with a stride.
