God Loves Sinners.
“And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth
down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia,
an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure,
and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him,
and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?”
Acts 8:26-30 KJV
– The eunuch was returning from worship in Jerusalem, unfulfilled because he had a longing that was still unmet.
– God loves eunuchs, (Isaiah 6:3-5) no wonder Phillip was sent to one such.
– God loves criminals, Moses was one of a kind.
– God loves prostitutes, Jesus transformed one such from Samaria into a powerful evangelist,(John.4)
– God loves fraudsters, Zaccheus got a special visit by Jesus.(Luke 19)
– God loves your enemies ask Jonah.
– God loves every sinner(such we were) and wants everyone of them to hear it.. giving each a chance for
repentance.
– Like Phillip He is sending you to someone somewhere, will you arise and go? Grace, grace.
