Keep your eyes on Jesus.
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 8:3-11 KJV
– The woman was guilty as charged.
– Jesus shielded her from the marauding legalists in order to give her a second chance.
– None of the legalists was better than her when they left the Presence of Jesus,none after personal
conviction of sin turned to Jesus in repentance.. what a tragedy? Imagine.
– The woman they came to accuse left Jesus with a new lease of life.
– His embrace will protect till you get a drink of the water of life,till He lifts your head again,
till you are on your feet again.
– Keep your eyes on Him, at His feet, He knows how to peel off the accusers one at a time.
“You still have another chance to rise up.”
